Abstraction

ABSTRACTION

The black stripe
With crossing red slashes
Is not a chocolate cookie

These are paint strokes
Put on paper
Representational things – perhaps

But are they words?
Given aura
This could make them so

A thousand word poem
These strokes
But no chocolate cookie
