Absent

Absent was the word I remember as meaning
not present in school.

Now that term represents way more in my life.
Being manic depressive there are certain levels
of insanity you deal with daily.

I'm now entering the big league.

Just think of being in the worst possible spot
mentally but still keeping some sane thought
and pushing on.

Usually my poems share some metaphor and
analogies. Not this one.

I'm now entering psychosis and delusional thought.
To all going through this just remember there are many
beautiful things in this life. Hang on please.
These thoughts of self hatred and esteem issues.
Stop and think.
Why let insanity and grandiose thoughts
make my decisions.
Love your self
