Absent

Nameless to the man next to her
Known to God as His beautiful wayward girl
Called Angel by her mother

Angel

Her wings bent
Her presence lost to Heaven
Her soul cold

She is here, but not
She is true, but forgot
She is sober, but sot

Angel cries her own tears
Angel calls out her fears
Angel carries her own cares

A bell sent near the

Earth to remind us all
Of her incredible
Worth
