Absence
The longing we feel
Falls on deaf ears
Our heartstrings are pulled
Ripped apart
They have been trampled
They say absence
Makes the heart grow fonder
But I don't believe in the wives tales of old
Absence can make
The brightest hearts turn black and cold
We are just a stones throw apart
And I'm standing here throwing my heart
A frozen heart hurts worse when it hits home
And home is where the heart is
It stings a little more when you're all alone
