Above Survival

I don't want to become, I use to believe,
to have devastated, the faith, I have, inside me.
To have the world, decide what is, and what isn't true,
because they are afraid, of what, could possible be.

For everyday, I can see the actual madness,
society brings, onto others, to please themself.
I'm not one to be a puppet, and be like the rest,
and be pull out, like a book, on a tall shelf.

My own mind I have, and I tend to keep,
is for me to realize and believe what is real.
Is time the world, to move on, and not pick on me,
and go on from within to therefore, heal.

Finding my role, in the whole grand scheme, of things,
I too will help, try to make sense, of all, while alive.
Please world, don't try to take away, who I now am,
when like you, am trying, to do more, than survive.
