Above a Stream
2 per cent either way is all it takes
this fragile world envelope to betray
change your ways humans please for all our sakes
So our children's children can hope to play
swinging above a stream
games and fun in a team
an endless blue of dream
OR - shattered by
that dreadful cry
comes time to die
Will it be, shaken loose by fearsome quakes?
A whisper of bombs in the skies today?
That last atmosphere boil from laser beam?
Too late to fly.
