BUT!

Being a little fish in a big stream?
One gets swallowed up

How about
Being a big fish in a little stream?
Hell YES!

BUT!

When one is a little fish in a little stream

OR

Turns to religion

It's about a larger-than-life character who enjoyed being a big fish in a small pond. It seems there are all kinds of things that make people turn to religion. Very well stated! Love, Carolyn
