Notes About The Poem

Listen to poem:

Abeyance

Grief stricken spirit;
          Heartfelt depthless soul; tear ducts
filled yon banks hold; spreads

          o'er a vast steep creek; thirst trails
          fluids back of walled eyelids.

Thanks for the title and the message. I'd kind of forgotten all about 'abeyance.' You have rejuvenated me! :) gw
