Abendruhe/ Evening Silence/ Tranquilidad De La Noche

Ruhe kehrt ein
In dieser lauen Sommernacht
Schon schläft die Natur

Die leeren Strassen sind einsam
Nur Sterne streuen ihr Licht

-------------------------------------

Silence is returning 
In this mild summer night 
Nature sleeps already

The empty streets are lonely
Only stars spreading their light

------------------------------------

La tranquilidad vuelve 
En esta noche suave de verano 
Ya duerme la naturaleza 

Las calles vacías son solitarios 
Sólo estrellas difunden su luz

I like them but my husband is so funny, I always make hime eat at least one when I cook them, he will cut them up as small as he can and it takes him all meal to eat one. LOL the way you cook them might be better for him.

And though the streets may appear lonely, I see stars as seams in the fabric of heaven through which our loved ones smile down upon us to let us know they are happy.
