Abecedarian
ABECEDARIAN
Amid the clamour of the world
Beauty remains, a
Clear concept, solid yet
Diaphanous, wherein I can
Every day with surety
Feel my gratitude for
God’s precious irreplaceable wonder, His
Holy joy, his bounteous joy, His
Illimited Joy, knowing no restriction,
Joy which powers all,
Keeping us breathing and living, and all
Life great and small
Moving, growing, reaching out for Him,
Not overtly, blatantly, not
Obviously in its intent, nevertheless
Persisting - albeit
Quietly - surviving each day and
Recreating itself in the very dawns and
Sunsets, in order
To resist and even
Undermine the effort, the hostility, the rigidity of evil, in a
Very warm and
Welcoming all-absorbing effort, as seen in
Xanadu’s bright character : fresh energy, and perpetually
Younthful
Zeal.
