Abandoned But Still Adorned

Wistful dreams
— like frost flowers
dainty  
formed in Fall’s brisk —
melt like wishful tears 
as dawn’s glow 
wakens 
sweet mirage 
of us
twined in love’s 
filigree-

abandoned... but still 
adorned with blue romance 
and 
gold-band emotions.
