She felt battered from the raging sea that just as quickly abandon her for it turned it's back to flee, from the prison of a rock pools plea.

I like the imagery here Jackie. I imagine a starfish or sea urchin left to await the next high tide, but also someone who is abandoned by the one they love, perhaps awaiting a new love.

hi James. l don't see myself as a poet.lv always wrote short stories, & poetry is very new experience to me. But l'm finding lm drawn, with great passion, to music lyric writing, which lm studying at moment. The condensed form of writing feelings, in music lyric's ,is fascinating to me..l'd love to be lyricist.

Hi Jackie, I have never referred to myself as a Poet. I write what I feel. I deeply appreciate the kind comments and even the few not so kind comments that I have received about my writing but in the end I write for me. My enjoyment comes from sharing, reading and writing. Yes, there are some excellent poets here but never believe that the expression of your emotions is any less important than theirs. If you have a poetic heart the writing is just a matter of practice.
