Abandoned
I write these words, a bittersweet release,
Finding solace in the pain that won't cease.
For unrequited love, though it may sting,
Inspires the poet's heart to passionately sing.
I sing, for I see you
I sing, for you don't see me
I sing, for I want you
I sing, for you don't want me.
