Eve Roper Poet Verse

Abandoned

forsaken
    in silence and 
        despair,
            my heart wilted
                from fail promises. 
                    it's darkest 
                bleak vault.
            I curse each 
        weeping
    tear from my
desolate
    eyes, left with lost sleep.
        whispers of failures are 
            all 
                I hear a castoff.
