Abandon Fear

I want to pour myself
into your eyes
and see
what it is you fear,

erase it
from your optic nerve
so the gnawing
of uncertainty
burdens you no more

I look into you
see the birth of pain

and you abandoning it
as if it doesn’t exist

like an orphaned
new born child

I weep for your denial
