Abandon All Hope, Folks!

Does anybody think the same as me? All hope has vanished. Law means nothing now. Not since George Washington first took the vow to put the nation, independent, free, exceptional, above the (here’s the key) ambition of a single man, the bough (less myriad off-shootings, I’ll allow), in spite of all, has flourished on the tree. Go count contrarians – the total’s none. Hope’s dead. This day will live in infamy. Is nothing left to pin our yearnings on? Effective justice? No, just bend-the-knee. Remove that Statue: there’s no Liberty. If law means nothing, USA has gone.
