Aardvark Reverie

When Aardvark sleeps, perchance to dream
About a tasty snack …

I wonder, does he ever wish
It wouldn’t bite him back?

A delightful little poem. There are too few poems about aardvarks, and now there is one more. Love Lee

Delightfully witty, Frances! Of course, red ants can produce a nasty bite. But sometimes after consuming a disagreeable meal, I find myself in the aardvark's position -- wishing it would be biting me back throughout the night. Just wonderful! Love, Carolyn

Love the humor. They are needed in America to clean out the fire ants that have become a nuisance. Sara P.S. But then will they become a nuisance.
