A Yellow Leaf

The leaf turgid, green and proud while seated on a branch of tree turns into soul of trodden below as human soul of the once proud is buried, trodden afoot with boots once I came across a leaf expelled by the tree that it served so well the leaf sat on bear soil thinking; “The service I gave to mother tree so loyally, so honestly, so eagerly the rain, bad weather I weathered have not been honored by mother! Now, I am here seated alone dying, yellow with age, suffering, vanishing, No one comes near to vindicate me Is this the way of the plant world?
