A Yearbook Pickup Line

He wrote inside my 9th grade yearbook: "I'd like to get with you inside a kayak." Today I would respond: "Your kisses were so heavenly, but you abandoned me. So it's a 'no' to me and you together in a small canoe!" Dedicated to my first kiss, Glenn, a real son-of-a-preacher man.

I alway found the best pick up line was "Hi" and a smile. I enjoyed your youthful tale, congratulations.

Yes...Hi and a smile works well...as long as you have a Richard Lamoureux face!

I think it is the only one I ever got. I didn't hang out in bars and just met guys very naturally!!! Hubbie always uses the cheesy ones on me for fun!

"The only one who could ever teach me, was the son-of-preacher-man. Yes he was, yes he was, yes he--- WAS"...Andrea, ANDREA! Your first kiss was when you were only in the 9th GRADE?? I find that rather shocking. I certainly hope it was only a peck on the cheek...BIG congrats my friend! Hugs and first kisses - Tim

ummm, it was a hellava lot better than a peck on the cheek. I wrote a poem all about this guy, who was from Alabama. But now I completely forgot the title. If I remember, I will let you know!! (he was my best friends' cousin and I met him when I went to Alabama with her family.)
