A Year
A year has come and is almost gone
It did not seem that long
we lost you Christmas day
no words can display
the sad thoughts that come
the silent tears that flow
we miss you today
will miss you every tomorrow
as we try to get by the sorrow
know you are in a heavenly place
but miss your smile and your face
will miss you mom on Christmas day
and all the others along the way.
