A Writer and His Time
A writer does not shape his time
Rather the times
Shape the writer
Who gives voice
To his time
In his own special way
In hopes that
His one small voice
May be heard
However faintly
Above the cacophonous din of the times
Or through the void and vacuum of time's indifference
