A Wrinkle In Life
Days are long,
But soo short
Wasting precious time
With complaints of boredom
Where does irony lie?
Thriving toward a great tomorrow
I sit conforming to society
While the days are long
I melt within a wrinkle
Time moves soo fast
Yet I beg for speed
Crying as the years compile
I wish to be a kid again
Forgive me for my contradictions.
But Mister…
All I want is to go home
Thriving toward a better future
I blend into societies rituals
While time moves fast
I melt within a wrinkle
Nothing to do
But everything is incomplete
Wanting a chance to make a difference
Yet I don’t want to stand out
A little unorthodox?
Thriving toward a fresh start
I bow down in society’s vanilla haven
While there is nothing to do
I melt within a wrinkle…
