A World Where Nobody Cares
She wants someone who will treat her like the world,
Take her in their arms and promise her the world
She wants someone to whisper "It will be alright,
When things get tough,
He won't just run and hide
She wants to be his everything,
For him to look in her eyes and not feel ashamed
She doesn't care about a storybook romance,
Though she wouldn't complain to have someone walk her home
She's so tired of crying herself to sleep
Wishing for a love that didn't exist
So, there is someone out there for everyone,
But is this really the truth?
At the end of the day does anyone care enough to say goodnight.
She wakes in the morning putting on her makeup,
Squeezing into those new jeans that fit just right
Not trying to impress anyone,
At the same time wishing anyone would just stare
Living in a world,
Where nobody cares
