A World of Looming Danger
A world of looming danger
Save my soul oh God
Remove my shadow from the table of vanity
Pave my way with the light I need
Show me the star I am
And never let my spirit separate from it
The day are tougher
Yet you make my soul hotter to face
The era of intoxication
How can I ever leave your presence oh God
With out gratitude
Cos you give me life in the midst of darkness
You water my plant to grow on peace
Despite the distractions of the day
Your grace remains stable to fitter my deformities
Despite an not perfect yet you love me
Above all you keep guiding my soul in
A world of looming danger
A world of looming danger
Guide my spirits oh God
Cos I don't walk with shame
Am proud of your blessings upon my life
I keep walking like the world is mine cos
I refuse to see the world on peoples terms
And I wear the lenses of a chosen soul
I got my spirits in tight with my ancestors
And God is the light I carry
So I can speak and drink with the devil untouched
I can shake the hands of my demon's
Unharmed
I can walk on cracky land with no sows
despite all the troubles of the days
I still live so blessed with my pains in
A world of looming danger
