A wOrLd ApArT

Always wearing my heart
I am told, up on my sleave
Perhaps why it all fell apart
And she had to then leave!

Now l am not feeling so smart
How l could have been so niave
Still though a right peace of art
As so many she would decive

Now l am right back at the start
And finding it hard not to grieve
The fact we're a world apart
That l just can not belive!

An old write rewriten from 1996

Simply simple rhyme and complex topic most everyone can relate to. Your rhyme scheme succeeded as attempted or you achieved to pattern rhyme as you wished to fashion or you did it, you writ it just as you wished it. Uh oh, my silly is coming on .... Your poems seem to be by someone young who is now more seasoned and ready for said new season. (based on dates you supplied and the fact that I started at 12/13 and recognize same / then matured, TUG)
