A Word about Parenthood

     My children know exactly how to hurt me
         They do it whenever it’s convenient
            for them

     My challenge is to love them, anyway,
         wholeheartedly
     And to boast to the world about
         
     the wonderful kids with whom
         the good Lord has blessed me
