A Woooo-Sahhhh Moment

Written By: D. Collins 1/19/25

A Woooo-Sahhhh moment is when you let it out.
And an end to the battles that you have fought.
To let thinning hair down and take a break.
From being the decider of your current fate.
Breathe in and breathe out deep long breaths.
Know you did what you did not by yourself.
A time to contemplate on where you’ve been.
Give props to your bloodline and all your kin.
You wouldn’t be who you are if not for them.
In that conviction you have buried under your skin.
Smile when you say it and speak their names.
I often do it with Granny and all three James’.
I'm putting words to this while I'm still here.
Woooo-Sahhhh-ing like a man in another gear.
Since God is willing to pull out all the stops.
I am down with saying Happy Birthday, Pops.
