A Wish for Muhammed Ali

  	       A shock so great
is a punch in the face
               If it breaks your cheek
                   You’re suddenly meek
Many wished it for Muhammed Ali
                    ~ It wasn’t to be

Yet he taught us all how to withstand the pummeling of life with the "rope-a-dope_ he used frustrate his opponents....that and his lightening quick fists...

All Ali 'taught' me, John, was how to be a hypocrite: Kill 'enemies' in the ring, but not our bloodthirsty, real enemies in Viet Nam.

I don't follow boxing too closely, but I'm told he was pretty good at taking punches. On the other hand, it seems like, in the long run, he didn't do too well.

He was quite brash and full of himself as a young man but he grew and matured into aa fine person. He will be missed. God Bless, JB

Funny, I think he got worse and worse as he aged. And he didn't start out so hot either. d

Speaking of Muhammad Ali, I have visited his grave and it is beautiful and peaceful
