A Wish For Love
We wish for the one that will love us forever
But unfortunately we keep looking for that treasure
Deep inside were crying from the hurt we endured
That at times we fall for just anyone to feel secured
We dont understand why the one we want is not for us
Or why they dont show us the love that we so entrust
We try so hard over and over to find that right mate
Only to end up in the end with another debate
If only we could realize that loving ourselves first
Would then bring that one into our lives that we've thirst
For it starts with you and I a change we must make
In order to see our dreams come true and the bough not break
