A Wish For a Time Machine

I wish that I had my own time machine
to replay the moment that I met you;
Lit on fire I was doused in gasoline;
No longer was my heartbeat subdued
everything since then has been brand new;
Comfortable in the heat of what’s severe,
I would gladly go back a couple of years
experience you coursing through my veins;
To feel how it felt before we got here
capture your eyes for the first time again.
