A Wise Day

A wise day

has shared me
the beauty of life’s purpose
to marry happiness
and to sing only
a pretty rhyming of today

tomorrow is there
it will come
just in its time
as it is not for borrowed
nor for granted afore

treasure a wise day
called today
pick every minute
one by one
with a heart of gratefulness
bundle it into
a bouquet of legend
for those who deserve

don’t let
a wise day
called today
melt away into its futility
before it kisses you
with its purist grace
