A Winters Wind

The suns warmth no longer
  Stains my skin
Only the cold leaves it's mark

Shadows once in the distance
Now no longer viewed so far
Set my hurt on fire
 Burn everything in my path
Smile and love for years
 A master of this mask

Why A winters wind
 Wrapped haggard round my heart
For being is to suffer
 When love is made
        to part.
