A Winter's Day
The snowflake tumbles to the ground,
Twirling about and falling slowly.
The spruces and pines are touched with snow,
When the sun shines, the snow sparkles.
The rooftops of the houses are covered with snow,
Santa's favorite roofs are blessed.
At Christmas Santa and the reindeer land on the roof,
The countryside looks like a Christmas postcard.
Parents and children go sledding and tobogganing,
Skating and skiing their favorite winter hobbies.
Skiers caress the the tall mountain slopes,
Skiing carefully snow plowing to a stop.
The restaurant is there if you wish a delicious lunch,
Keeping warm and receiving food deliciously cooked.
A snowy day appreciated and savored,
God's blessings continue and are revered.
