A Will To Live

A Will To Live

Pardon me for being so blunt
We sleep in modest comfort from
Shattered dreams the price of evil schemes
Shape through the many colors that form from within
Out of sadness the mere madness to what we left behind
A strong soldier in the battle field outside
We run from the storm every reason to hide
To hide behind the false hidden garb of compromise
A will to live the given chance to forgive
The healing process to learn another bridge to burn
 A hero's welcome behind the enemy's lines
Rejoice in the praise that comes from above
To cherish a red rose that was plucked a time before
In mere solace we slowly engage in a parting kiss
The love that was embraced toward a heavenly wish
Beauty marked on a dot of a blotted page
The social injustices are all the rage
Today were all blinded as a mouse is stuck in it's cage
Shelter lies dormant amidst it's beckoning plough
A challenge to be free is a question of time
To learn more from what's love got to do
Perhaps Iv'e bitten off far more then I could chew
A will to live in darkened portals of the mind
Shine the light on mental illness & the blind
We each need deliverence from the evil outside
In a decorated vase shaped in colors on it's side
