A Wild Night Leads To a Fright

I've never had a girls night out
Or wild things to tell about
But I think it will be fun
To say what I would have done
My friends and I would be shain'
Our "groove thing" while men are takin'
Dollars out as we begin
To get drunk and show some skin
Dancing on bars and tables too
Not having a single clue
What's happening all because
We're getting more than a "buzz"
From the liquor men are buying
More and more they are supplying
Stronger drinks that are not mild
So they can see "women gone wild"
Our inhibitions take a hike
And stupidity begins to spike
Soon we are playing strip pool
Thinking it is really cool
In time more than skin is showing
As we feel cold air blowing
On bodies that are now nude
Losing to some crafty dudes
That hustled us out of them
Now there is a group of friends
Waking up huddled together
Not really sure how we got here
Heads are banging--sickness starts
Trying to piece the different parts
Back together once again
With help from a sober friend
We see every action played
Words escape us--we're dismayed
Watching things that we have done
Along with each and everyone
Seeing naked butts and boobs
Over and over on you tube

Wow, what a "wild" night out you describe, Robin. For a shy person, it would be very disturbing to wake up and see a video of your escapade on youtube. I no longer have wild nights and am glad youtube was not around during my college years. Love the poem and wish you success in the contest! Carolyn
