A Wild Heart Like Yours
My daughter, my best friend,
my life, my everything
you’ve shown me that it’s okay
to be wild at heart,
to dance through life’s storms
with laughter and fire in your soul.
You are my mini me,
not just in the mirror’s reflection
but in the tilt of your chin,
the sparkle in your eyes,
and the fierce, unyielding spirit
that says, “I’m ready for the world.”
Strong willed and free,
you are destined for greatness
I see it in every stubborn smile,
every bold step you take.
May the world make way
for your dreams, your voice,
your unquenchable spark.
For in you, I see all that I am
and all that I hope to be
my daughter, my guiding light,
my wild heart in bloom.
