A Whisper On Your Pillow
I found a whisper on your pillow
In the shape of a silent tear
It's voice was much too weak to speak
For you're no longer here
I found a smile on your coffee cup
As red as it could be
I know you left this smile behind
Just for me to see
I found your toothbrush in the bathroom
It's sitting next to mine
I remember when you last used it
The night we drank that wine
Today I found your diamond ring
In the window by the pane
You took it off to wash the dishes
Far away from the drain
I found the roses you always loved
And put them by your stone
And everytime we say goodbye
I feel so all alone
I found a whisper on your pillow
In the shape of a silent tear
It's voice was much too weak to speak
For you're no longer here
