A While

Hey little girl, I left a note for you by the bed.
I left a note for you by your pretty little head.. 

Go wonder a bit and see what's out there for you to find
look around you at the world that shines!

Maybe you could just sit down here?
Just sit down here next to me and stay for a while?

You could write a song about all of the things you'd see, 
all of the pictures and really tall trees. 
You could write a song about all of the things you'd 
always wanted to be. 
Or, how about just writing a song and making 
it all about you and me?

Maybe you could just sit down here?
Just sit down here next to me and stay for a while?

Listen girl, Call me when your slumber is finally through. 
Maybe I can help you write a song or two?
I've got some tips, I've got a few. 
Oh girl, I thought you already knew 
Ive just been foolin around with you.
I could never think my thoughts into a song like you. 
Watching you thats all I really want to do! 
So baby girl...
Get over here and just sit down next to me!  
Sit down over here and talk to me! 
Just sit down over here for a while. 
I just wanna stare at you my girl, and drive you wild!
