A Whiff of Breeze
Seated on a whiff of breeze
Hanging in the air
I gazed at the moon
Huddled in the arms of the sky.
The moon waved at me
With winking eyes
Inviting me to partake
In the festivities of colored hues
Blossoming slowly to the songs
Of birds returning to their nests,
Before mellowing down steadily
As the twilight merged into the dark.
A hushed silence pervaded the landscape
As beneath the canopy unannounced
Has surged coronavirus blowing its trumpet
Engulfing the human race into despair.
Unaware of this epidemic furiously insane,
But deep into the mystery cosmic
Shrouded by the web of stars overlooking me
“I wandered lonely as a cloud”.
“I wandered lonely as a cloud” by William Wordsworth
