Queen Willow, Still Weeps
(A Weeping Willow Mourns)
Queen Willow, Still Weeps
Weeping on a hill, north
Swaying, with a lonely pang
Taking in the sun’s warmth
For tonight, she WILL reign
Misunderstood, by stiff older trees
Standing together, her lies believed
For the power, she lusts
She laughs, the wind gusts
Her flexibility, ensures her throne
Mourning dawns…. she stands alone
