A WALK TO THE POND

As the sun dips beneath the horizon For a stroll, I walk down to the pond Greeted by the gentle caress of the evening breeze Left I was amazed with nature's bliss. I see, a charming Lily tending to its young Diligently pouring love; humming a song I smiled in return as it grins An eclipse; two worlds collide. The Lotus scorn as the Sun goes down Even as anger marks its expression Its red radiates with the dying rays Casting shadows of complete bliss. At the far end of the pond Bromeliads rejoice deepening their bond As they peacefully open up To embrace the sweet quiet night.
