Notes About The Poem

A Voice In the Wilderness

A Voice in the Wilderness: by M. Griswold 07102020

This is the message of God from olden days.
Given to man so he would change his ways.
As back then, it's true in these present times.
God again, speaks His words of man's crimes.

Listen and listen well, open up your closed ears.
So you may hear His truth after all these years.
Don't be mislead by others who tell you false lies.
For they deceive all that you see before your eyes.

This is His message He wishes you to hear, again.
Repent from your evil ways of sin that you are in.
Return unto Me and I will forgive you once more.
Just ask and I will lead you through My front door.

The door that I gave you so many years in the past.
It is still open and inviting you by it's shadows cast.
This door, this way is the only truth offered you today.
It's He who died upon a cross and by men was betrayed.

So to all those that have ears, open them and listen well.
If you do not heed this call you will know what is hell.
For the time is short and He wishes no one to be undone.
Please listen, turn, repent and believe upon His only Son.
