A View For All

Shipped across borders, They found a home within its walls, Hoodwinked, They let go of their treasures, In exchange for something unmatched in value, They call them uncivilised carvings, But not uncivilised for a display within those walls, The complicity of the museum, A home for the stolen and genuine, A home for the raided and the indigenous, A home for the ill-gotten and the ingenious, Bloodied walls with artefacts kept for history's tenacity, Kept for the untold truth.
