A Valentines Day To Remember

Snow and sleet are falling,
Against the windowpane,
Power-lines are down; there is not a star in the sky,
Just a hope that the storm shall wane

Another log on the fire placing;
As the night draws nigh, it is plain
We shall dine by candlelight.
As was preordained

Cuddling in your arms tonight,
Oh, how the heart does swoon…
Everything seems so right.
While, dancing to murmured sweetheart tunes

My flesh tingles to your tender touch
Although, it is storming tonight,
A peace fills our world with pure trust,
Our love is full of sheer delight.
As we enjoy this stormy night...
