A Valentine Surprise
A gift so extraordinary
The colors are red, pink, and some gold
Her heart sank surprisingly as she smiles
A warm welcoming gift bag
A beautiful bag full of gifts
Diamond rings, Candies, and Flowers.
As she returns the favor
Appreciated all that is done
He was excited as she presented him with one
A bag with gift cards
Items of clothing, of all kinds
As he opened them one by one
Smiling, with unspoken words.
A Valentine surprise
After spending many many years together
Giving Jesus all the glory
Telling their beautiful story
All families gathered around
What an awesome day as they all smile.
One replied and said it is not the things of joy
It is their genuine love and being best friends
Living life a little bit more, until the end.
Keeping Jesus first
As the other one said
Communication, and Trust
Non-hurtful words
Is a must.
