A Vain Season Is Coming
The day we found out
Our lives were like a
moving novel
Constantly weaving in and
out the threads of our years.
Sometimes when the night closes its
windows, I stumble across you
when you are full of laughter and
revenge, oh my God you say
Because nothing that resembles
our lords creatures is afraid of you.
I pray the rosarys like you scim through
scriptures, looking for that other sign
Beside the ones I've found already.
Could it be?
We search to much.
