A Vacation, Almost, Not For Me

After careful thought
Alot of consideration
I've decided to dedicate
My one and only vacation

First stop is helping Roger
For he is in despair
He lost his only son in Iraq
But his belongings are everywhere

Then I'm off to Redding
A lady there had the heart of my best friend
I need to give her something of his
Reminding her there a new beginning to every end

Trinity Falls has beauty
I've never seen before
I'll stop here for a day
To keep my butt from getting sore

From there I travel the coast
Shelter Cove is where I'll land
Hand delivering a job
To a client in basking on the ocean sand

Down to Vegas
My son I need to see
He calls just to say I Love You
Can you bring some boxes to me

Somewhere in the desert
I will set old items on fire
Forever discarding the memories I've kept
For the man my heart desires

Then, helping my parents
We've got water to move
Our orchard is growing
And more building permits to approve

I'll see ya all in a while
I better get my butt in gear
I'll write as I travel
For loniless is my only fear
