A Ubiquitous Word
Love is a ubiquitous word:
that's lost its oomph along the way.
A colloquialism for, like:
it has become a filler word.
On the Internet and Facebook:
love is a ubiquitous word.
Any attached sentiment slips
into redundancy with use.
It is over-commercialized:
unattached from reality.
Love is a ubiquitous word,
yet time has warped its true meaning.
I want to express my feelings
and tell you what is in my heart.
But how do I voice such thoughts when
love is a ubiquitous word?
