A Twisted Path

A Twisted Path
An errant trail,
A love concealed.
The final veil,
Fate's hand revealed.

Muted echoes,
Silent cries.
Bleak tomorrows,
Under shadowed skies.

Desperate whispers,
Hopeful lies.
From the core,
Emptiness sighs.

Solitary strides,
No joy in sight.
Hollow dialogues,
Internal fights.

Mostly flawed,
Seldom right.
A young heart's ache,
A sinner's plight.

Grasping for heaven,
Chasing the dawn.
Yet all alone,
The path goes on.
