A Twist of Love
You can’t fold my mind and put it in a draw,
And stuff it away as if it’s not needed anymore.
You can’t bend my will and drop it in a pit,
And dismiss it because it doesn’t fit.
You can’t twist my love around your finger,
And scorn it as if it doesn’t matter.
